An Ocean Data Revolution

Industrial technology, ocean sustainability and business leaders on how data will make our oceans safer, healthier and more sustainable

In this virtual event

September 24th, 2020
12pm - 1pm (CEST)

Join us where data science, industry and ocean sustainability meet. Leaders from the Center for the 4th Industrial Revolution (C4IR), in partnership with the World Economic Forum, REV Ocean, Aker Biomarine, SINTEF Ocean and Cognite will put the spotlight on a data revolution that is reshaping the relationship we have with our oceans, from fishing and marine agriculture to energy, shipping, and security.

In both presentation and panel, they’ll discuss drivers of transparency and data sharing around ocean health, and explain how their organizations are using ocean data to ensure safer, healthier, more sustainable oceans for wildlife, for people, and for business.

Key takeaways:

  • Drivers of transparency and prerequisites to data sharing to benefit ocean management, health, innovation, and sustainability
  • Successful use cases in ocean data innovation and impacts on marine agriculture, fishing, and environmental footprint; derived from C4IR’s largest ocean data platform and powered by Cognite Data Fusion
  • Insights into the potential for sweeping innovations around ocean safety, security and sustainability

This event will be moderated by Paula Doyle - SVP Sales and Marketing, Cognite
